Clutch System Overviews: SACHS

  1. Dual Mass Flywheel 
    • Removing and installing, refer to Description and Operation .
    • Make sure it fits securely on the centering pins.
    • Keep the clutch lining contact surface free of grooves, oil and grease.
  2. Clutch Disc 
    • Only replace together with the pressure plate.
    • Removing and installing, refer to SACHS .
    • Installed position, refer to Figure.
  3. Pressure Plate 
    • With the adjustment mechanism.
    • Only replace together with the clutch disc.
    • Removing and installing, refer to SACHS .
    • Check the ends of the diaphragm spring, refer to Figure.
    • Check the spring and rivet connections, refer to Figure.
  4. Bolt 
    • M6 bolt - 13 Nm
    • M7 bolt - 20 Nm
    • Loosen and tighten in small steps and in a diagonal sequence.
