Clutch System Overviews: LUK

  1. Dual Mass Flywheel 
    • Removing and installing, refer to Description and Operation
    • Make sure it fits securely on the centering pins.
    • Keep the clutch lining contact surface free of grooves, oil and grease.
  2. Clutch Disc 
    • Removing and installing, refer to LUK .
    • Only replace together with the Self Adjusting Clutch (SAC) pressure plate.
    • Installed position, refer to Figure.
  3. SAC Pressure Plate 
    • SAC = "Self Adjusting Clutch"
    • Only replace together with the clutch disc.
    • Removing and installing, refer to LUK .
    • Check the ends of the diaphragm spring. Refer to Figure.
    • Check the spring connections and rivet connections. Refer to Figure.
  4. Bolt 
    • M6 bolt - 13 Nm
    • M7 bolt - 20 Nm
    • Loosen and tighten in small steps and in a diagonal sequence.
