Clutch, Removing

To remove and install the clutch, the transmission must be secured in a vertical position on the assembly stand.

-- Remove the clutch cover. Refer to CLUTCH COVER, REMOVING .

-- Remove the circlip -arrow-.

This circlip must be re-measured and replaced later when installing.

CAUTION:

Carefully remove the clutch. Make sure that the end cover or other parts of the clutch do not fall out; for this reason, do not turn over the clutch!

If this happens, refer to SPECIAL CARE .

-- Remove the clutch.

-- Remove the pump shaft -A-.

-- The pump shaft will first be used after the installation of the new clutch. Set the shaft down until then.
