Headlamp washer system, bleeding

After any disassembly/reassembly operations are performed to the headlamp washer system, the system must be bled and operation confirmed.

Proceed as follows:

• Fill washer fluid reservoir.

• Switch on ignition.
• Switch on headlamps.
• Operate windshield washer switch intermittently, with 3 - 5 impulses over a 3 second period (washer jet cylinder should momentarily engage/raise/lower).
• Repeat procedure until all air has been bled from system and washer jet cylinder engages/raises immediately and consistently.
