High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module J343 / 344, emoving and installing

NOTE:

High intensity gas discharge lamp control modules do not have On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capabilities.

Removing:

Remove screws - arrows - of High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module - 1 -.

NOTE:

When removing High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module, o harness connectors must be disconnected. Harness connector is installed permanently on headlamp and is automatically disconnected upon removal.

Installing:

CAUTION: When installing module, ensure proper seating. Water intrusion will damage headlamp.

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Check headlamp function.
Perform headlamp basic setting and check headlamp adjustment → 01 - Maintenance .
