Windshield wiper system, removing - preparation

Deactivate APP function → Windshield wiper - Alternating Park Position (APP) function, deactivating .
Operate wipers briefly, allow to run to park position and then switch off ignition.
Disconnect battery → Battery, disconnecting and connecting .

NOTE:

In order to remove wiper frames with linkages and wiper motor, wiper arms, plenum chamber cover and bulkhead trim must first be removed.
