Cruise Control System (CCS), activating and deactivating

• Connect Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051/5052 → VAS 5051 / 5052  under Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 / 5052, onnecting .
• Select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding"
• Enter information as prompted and press ">" to confirm.

After the DTC memory of all control modules has been checked:

• Use "Go to" button to select "Function / Component Selection"
• Select "Powertrain (Repair Group 01; 10 -39)"
• Select applicable engine
• Select "01 - Self-diagnosis"

• Select "01 - Motronic engine control"
• Select "Functions"
• Select "On Board Diagnostic (OBD) functions"
• Select "Activating/deactivating cruise control system"

• Press ">" to confirm.
• Follow tester prompts
