12 Volt Power Socket, Removing and Installing

CAUTION:
  • Using force to remove 12 volt power sockets and cigarette lighter receptacles without illumination can result in damage to the mounting sleeve retainers.
  • Puller T40148 can be used to remove 12 volt power sockets and cigarette lighter receptacles with illumination only.
  • The puller is not capable of releasing the retainers on receptacles without illumination.
  • Receptacles without illumination usually cannot be removed without damage.

Procedure to remove power socket is the same as for Cigarette Lighter U1 Receptacle. Removing and Installing → Cigarette Lighter Receptacle, Removing and Installing
