Front Bumper Cover, Cup Edition

NOTE:

If the bumper cover is damaged, first determine if it is possible to repair the plastic before installing a new cover.

Removing

-- Remove the radiator grille. Refer to RADIATOR GRILLE, CUP EDITION .

-- Remove bolts -6- from above.

-- Remove screws -2- (pointing upward) on the left and right sides of the wheel housing.

-- Remove bolts -3- on left and right sides of the wheel housing.

-- Remove the screws -4- and -5- from underneath.

A second mechanic is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

-- Remove front bumper cover -1- parallel from the vehicle. A second technician is needed for this.

-- Disconnect the connectors for the applicable electrical components (if equipped).

Installation

-- With the help of a second technician, guide the front bumper cover -1- parallel onto the lock carrier.

NOTE:

When installing front bumper cover -1-, make sure it is guided parallel to the fender.

-- Install the screws -2, 3, 4, 5 and 6- and tighten them to the tightening specification. Refer to BUMPER COVER OVERVIEW

Install in reverse order of removal.
