"K4" Components From Below, Overview

The clutch will now be disassembled for cleaning. No further repairs can be made to it.

1 - Clutch housing "K4"

2 - Needle thrust bearing

• Dark side faces upwards.

3 - Freewheel

• Arrow points inwards.

4 - Ring

• Groove faces freewheel.

5 - Retaining ring

• Ring will not be replaced. Therefore, remove and install carefully, not over-stretching it with force.

Disassembling "K4" from below 

• Remove retaining ring.
• Remove ring, freewheel and axial bearing.

Assembling "K4" from below 

• Lay needle thrust bearing in clutch housing. Installation position.
• Install freewheel. Installation position.
• Insert ring with groove facing freewheel.
• Install retaining ring.
