Shift Lock Solenoid N110, Removing And Installing: Removing

• First check whether a coded radio is installed. If so, obtain anti-theft code.
• Move selector lever to "P" position.
• With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.
• Raise vehicle.
• Remove bracket for catalytic converter from subframe and pull back; loosen double clamp. → - Repair Group 26

Do not remove catalytic converter but leave it lying on subframe.

• Unhook selector lever cable from retainer on front heat shield.
• Remove front heat shield for tunnel.
• Separate middle heat shield for tunnel and push back.

• First remove 4 nuts - arrows A  -.
• Then remove 2 bolts - arrows B  -.
• Carefully push cover with protective sleeve forward over selector lever cable. Do not damage protective sleeve in the process.

• Unclip Shift Lock Solenoid N110 from retainer - arrows A  -.
• Pull solenoid out of locking pawl - arrows B  -.

• Disconnect connector - arrow  - and remove Shift Lock Solenoid N110 downwards.
