Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid Valve N112 , checking

Test conditions 

• Coolant temperature 5 to 33 ° C
• Secondary air injection (AIR) pump motor OK
• There must be no malfunctions stored in DTC memory.

Test sequence

• Disconnect vacuum hose at combination valve - arrow  -.
• Start engine and let run at idle. Vacuum must be present at vacuum hose (sense by touch) when Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Motor V101 is running.

If no vacuum can be felt:

• Switch off engine.
• Check valve activation.
