Adjusting Throttle Position (TP) sensor

Only vehicles with adjustable throttle position sensor

Work procedure

Adjust cable pulley:

Fine tuning the sensor in installed condition:

NOTE:
  • On vehicles with automatic transmission, the pressure point of the kick-down switch must be noticeable before the throttle reaches the wide open stop.

If accelerator pedal stop is not reached and pressure point of the kick down switch is not noticed: Turn sensor in the slots of the mounting bracket.
