Coolant pump, removing and installing: Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
- Moisten new O-ring - 5 - with coolant.
- Insert coolant pump - 4 - into cylinder block and tighten securing bolts - 3 -. Torque specification: 15 Nm
NOTE:
- Coolant pump plug points downward.
- Install idler pulley - 2 - and tighten bolt - 1 - (replace). Tightening torque: 40 Nm plus an additional 90 ° ( 1 / 4 turn)
- Toothed belt, installing, tensioning. Refer to Toothed belt, removing, installing and tensioning .
- Install ribbed belt. Refer to Ribbed belt, removing and installing .
- Install connecting pipe between charge air cooler and intake manifold. Refer to Charge air cooler components, assembly overview .
- Install right headlight: Refer to 94 LIGHTS, SWITCHES - EXTERIOR
- Check headlight adjustment, correct if necessary.
- Fill engine with coolant. Refer to Cooling system, draining and filling .
