Oil supply line, disassembly and assembly

Removing

Remove noise insulation.
Place drip tray V.A.G 1306 beneath.
Remove air filter housing.
Remove union nut - 2 - and banjo bolt - 4 - on oil filter bracket.
Remove bolt - 6 -.
Remove union nut - 2 - at turbocharger.
Remove bolt - 9 - from bracket - 7 -.
Remove nut - 8 - and remove bracket - 7 -.
Remove oil supply line - 1 -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order. Note the following:

CAUTION: Installation of the oil supply line must be performed as in the following description.

Loosely fasten bracket - 7 - with nut - 8 - to exhaust manifold.
Hand-tighten union nut - 2 - and banjo bolt - 4 - to oil filter bracket.
Hand-tighten union nut - 2 - to turbocharger.
Tighten union nut - 2 - and banjo bolt - 4 - on oil filter bracket to specified torque.

Tighten union nut - 2 - on turbocharger to specified torque.

Position clamp - 5 - on oil supply line.
Tighten bolts - 6 - and - 9 - to specified torque.
Tighten nut - 8 - to specified torque.
