Calculating "m":

Place straightedge "A" on thrust plate.

Compress set of plates including pressure plate in direction of arrow and measure thickness of plate set with depth gauge "B".

Example:

CALCULATING M (REVERSE GEAR BRAKE - B1-)

Reading - Straightedge	= =	73.5 mm - 48.2 mm
Calculated size l	=	25.3 mm

x = k+1/2-m

Determine size of shims according to table: see TABLE OF "SHIMS": .
