General repair instructions: Transmission

- While installing transmission, be sure that the dowel pins for aligning the engine and transmission are properly located.
- After replacing the transmission, top up with gear oil to the lower edge of the filler hole.

NOTE:
If the oil level is topped up while the transmission is installed in the vehicle, carry out the oil level check as follows:
- Fill with the specified gear oil up to the lower edge of the filler hole.
- Re-install the plug.
- Start the engine, engage a gear, and let the transmission turn for approx. 2 minutes.
- Stop the engine and again add gear oil, up to the lower edge of the filler hole.
