General repair instructions: Transmission

While installing transmission, be sure that the dowel pins for aligning the engine and transmission are properly located.
After replacing the transmission, top up with gear oil to the lower edge of the filler hole.

NOTE: If the oil level is topped up while the transmission is installed in the vehicle, carry out the oil level check as follows:

Fill with the specified gear oil up to the lower edge of the filler hole.
Re-install the plug.
Start the engine, engage a gear, and let the transmission turn for approx. 2 minutes.
Stop the engine and again add gear oil, up to the lower edge of the filler hole.
