Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM), activating: Requirements

NOTE:
  • Checks using the output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) can only be performed if the engine is not running and the ignition is switched on.
  • The output DTM sequence will be aborted if the engine is started or a rotational impulse is recognized.
  • During the output DTM sequence individual components will be activated until advancing to the next component by pressing the → button.
  • Components are checked audibly or by touch.
  • The electric fuel pump will run during the complete output DTM.
  • The output DTM sequence will be aborted after 10 minutes.
  • Run engine briefly first if there is a requirement to repeat the output DTM.
