Scan Tool (ST) VAG 1551 , connecting and selecting functions: Requirements

- Fuses 5, 10, 13, 28, 29, 32, 34 and 43 OK
- Battery (B+) voltage at least 11.5 V
- Ground (GND) connection between engine and body OK
- All electrical consumers (e.g. lights and rear window defroster) switched off
- Air conditioner switched off (if equipped)
- Automatic transmission selector lever in "P" or "N" position
