Fuel Level Sensor

NOTE:

Phased in introduction of fuel delivery units with changed fuel level sensor -G-.

Removing - Old Version 

-- Remove fuel delivery unit FUEL DELIVERY UNIT .

-- Release connectors -arrows- and remove electrical wires -1, 2 and 3-.

-- Lift retaining tabs -4- and -5- with a screwdriver and pull fuel level sensor -G- downward and off -arrow-.

Installing - Old Version 

-- Insert fuel level sensor -- into guides at fuel delivery unit and press up until engagement.

-- Connect connector and check for secure locking.

-- Fuel delivery unit, installing FUEL DELIVERY UNIT .

Removing - New Version 

-- Remove fuel delivery unit FUEL DELIVERY UNIT .

-- Pull fuel level sensor -G- slightly to the side and simultaneously upward.

-- Release connectors and remove electrical wires.

Installing - New Version 

-- Connect connector and check for secure locking.

-- Insert fuel level sensor -G- into guide at fuel delivery unit and press down until engagement.

-- Fuel delivery unit, installing FUEL DELIVERY UNIT .
