- VW 387 Universal dial gauge bracket
- Dial gauge
Work sequence
- Insert a new valve into guide. End of valve stem must be flush with guide.
NOTE:
Due to the slight difference in stem diameters, only use an intake valve in the intake guide and an exhaust valve in the exhaust guide.
- Determine rock.
Wear limit:
Intake valve guide = 1.0 mm
Exhaust valve guide = 1.3 mm
