Possible Causes And Corrective Actions

Malfunctions in data wires, or CAN-Bus in bus-off condition. Possible effect may be functions of systems connected to CAN-Bus not OK.

• Read Measuring Value Block. See READ MEASURING VALUE BLOCK (FUNCTION 08)  .
• Check DTC memory of instrument cluster and Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface and repair malfunctions as necessary. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) MEMORY, CHECKING (FUNCTION 02)  .
• Check control module coding, correct if necessary. See INITIATING ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (INSTRUMENT CLUSTER) & CHECKING INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CODING  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
• Check wire routing of CAN-Bus according to wiring diagram.
