Fuel tank, removing and installing: Installing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Install in reverse sequence, but note the following:

Route the vent and fuel hoses without creasing them.
Make sure of a tight fit for the fuel hoses.
Do not reverse the feed and return hoses (return line blue or with blue marking, feed line black).

NOTE:

Once the fuel tank is installed, Make sure that the feed, return, and vent lines are still clipped onto the fuel tank.

Check DTC memory: Refer to 01 ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD)
Perform basic settings. Refer to 24 MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION (MFI)
Read readiness code: Refer to 01 ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD)
If DTC memory was erased or engine control module was disconnected from positive voltage supply, readiness code must be regenerated: Refer to 28 IGNITION/GLOW PLUG SYSTEM
