Coolant, draining and filling: Draining

- Open coolant expansion tank cap.
- Remove damping pan: Refer to NOISE INSULATION (GASOLINE ENGINES), ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW or NOISE INSULATION (DIESEL ENGINES), ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW
- Unscrew drain plug - arrow - from radiator return to drain coolant from radiator.
- Also pull coolant hose out from oil cooler - arrow - to drain coolant from engine.
NOTE:
- Please follow regulations for coolant disposal!
