Oil seal on vibration damper end of crankshaft, replacing: Installing

• Lightly coat sealing lip of seal with oil.

• Place guide sleeve from Sealer installer 3266 on crankshaft nose.
• Push oil seal over guide sleeve.

• Press seal in with pressure sleeve from Sealer installer 3266 until it reaches stop. Use old mounting bolt for vibration damper.

• Install vibration damper and lock in place using counter hold 3406.
• Tighten new mounting bolt to 100 Nm and turn an additional 1/4 turn (90 ° ).
• Install "V" ribbed belt, refer to Ribbed V-belt, removing and installing  .
