Fuel Pump (FP), removing and installing: Installing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

NOTE:

Do not bend fuel level sender when installing.
Insert seal for fuel pump and fuel level sensor 2 dry into opening of fuel tank.
Moisten seal with fuel only when installing fuel pump and fuel level sensor 2.
Ensure fuel hoses are seated securely.

Note installation position of fuel pump flange: Marking on flange must align with marking on fuel tank - arrows -.
After installation of the flange, check fuel pump to make sure the fuel supply line - 2 - and fuel return line - 1 - are still clipped onto fuel tank.
