"K1" Components, Overview

1 - Clutch housing

2 - Piston

On the piston, there are two O-rings which must not be damaged.

3 - Spring

4 - Piston cap

5 - Retaining ring

For piston.

6 - Dished spring

Convex side faces piston cap.

7 - Outer plate

Figure shows 7 plates. Depending on transmission, fewer may be installed.

8 - Inner plate

Figure shows 7 plates. Depending on transmission, fewer may be installed.

9 - Last outer plate pressure plate

Thicker than other outer plates.

10 - Retaining ring

For plates.
Ring will not be replaced. Therefore, remove and install carefully, being careful not to over-stretch it.
