Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 , connecting and selecting function

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
- Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051
- Diagnostic cable, 3m with power supply VAS 5051/1 or Diagnostic cable, 5m without power supply VAS 5051/3
CAUTION:
- Test equipment must always be secured on the rear seat during a road test.
- Drivers must NEVER operate these tools while driving.
- Remove cover - 1 - for Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Connect tester VAS 5051 with diagnostic cable VAS 5051/1 or VAS 5051/3 to Data Link Connector (DLC) with ignition switched off.
- Switch on tester - arrow -.
The tester is ready for operation when it displays the image (photo) of a vehicle.
- Switch on ignition.
- Touch field / button on screen: Guided Fault Finding.
- Select one after another:
- Brand
- Model
- Model year
- Version
- Engine codes
- Confirm entered data.
Wait until tester has checked all control modules installed in the vehicle.
- Press GoTo button and select "Function/component selection" function.
Follow the displays on screen to begin the desired functions.
