Oil pump, assembly overview: Notes

1 - Input shaft
- For oil pump drive
2 - Oil pump housing
3 - 23 Nm
4 - Gears

- Checking axial play Checking oil pump axial clearance under Oil pump, assembly overview
5 - Oil pump cover with pressure relief valve
- Opening pressure 5.3 to 5.7 bar pressure
- Clean strainer if soiled
6 - 8 Nm
- Install with locking fluid "D6"
7 - Oil pressure line
- Coat at cylinder block and at oil pump housing with sealing compound AMV 188 001 02
- Fasten with new "micro-encapsulated" bolts.
8 - 10 Nm
9 - Oil seal
- Replace if damaged
