Transmission Control Module J217, Replacing: Procedure

Check the identification of the previous Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217 as follows:

Connect the scan tool.
Switch the ignition on.
Select "Diagnostic mode 9: Vehicle information."
Select the "Test-ID 04: Calibration identification" .
The Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217 identification will be displayed, e.g.: 09G27750 L 0301
End diagnosis and switch the ignition off.
