All electrical consumers, e.g. rear window defogger, must be switched off.
If equipped with A/C, it must be switched off.
With an automatic transmission selector lever must be in P or N.
There may be no DTCs in memory → Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, checking and erasing .

Coolant temperature must be at least 10 ° C (50 ° F), → display group 01, display zone 4.
