Control module identification 

The control module version is identified when the VAG1551 Scan Tool, VAG1552 Scan Tool or the new VAS5051 tester are connected and the control module for engine electronics is selected. Refer to VAG1551 Scan Tool (ST), connecting and selecting "Engine Electronics" address word 01  .
