Valve Body

Disassembling and assembling procedure. Refer to Valve body, removing and installing
CAUTION:
Do not run engine or tow vehicle with valve body cover removed or when there is no ATF in transmission.
- The valve body or the wiring harness for the solenoid valves can also be removed when transmission is installed.
- Always replace a valve body which is fouled or faulty.
1 - Plug, 15 Nm
- Always replace oil seal
2 - Overflow pipe
3 - Drain plug, 45 Nm
- Only replace if oil is to be drained.
4 - Seal
- Always replace
5 - Transmission housing
6 - Hex nut, 20 Nm
7 - Lock washer
8 - Lever
- For selector shaft
9 - Bolt, 6 Nm
10 - Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125
- Removing, installing and adjusting. Refer to Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125 , removing, installing and adjusting .
- Can be checked using "Guided Fault Finding" of VAS 5051.
11 - Retaining clip
- For wiring harness on transmission housing.
12 - Wiring harness
- For solenoid valves, engine speed sensor and ATF temperature sensor.
13 - O-ring
- Always replace
- For connector/wiring harness.
14 - Seal
- Always replace

15 - Seal
- Always replace

16 - Valve body
- Removing and installing, refer to Valve body, removing and installing
17 - Cap
- To secure plug

- Torque setting
- Complying with disassembling and assembling procedure. Refer to Valve body, removing and installing .
24 - Wiring harness
- For engine speed sensor and ATF temperature sensor.
25 - Spool valve
- Secure against falling out before removing valve body.
