Installation Position Of Seals For Piston "B2"

Lay the pair of seals which are to be installed one on top of the other and flat on a clean surface. They must not be twisted.
- Now it can be seen that the rings have different sizes.
- Moisten seals with ATF before installing.
- Install small seal - 1 - inside in piston and large one - 2 - outside.
If everything has been done correctly, the squared side of each seal - arrows - now lies in the respective groove in piston. The rounded sides lies to the outside and are visible.
Installing piston
- Carefully press piston into cover to stop without canting.
- When inserting piston, be very careful that the seals remain seated in the grooves of the piston.
- Using twisting motion , push piston further into cover until it engages in one of four possible positions.
The cover may now be installed.
