Shift Lock Solenoid N110, Removing And Installing: Removing

First check whether a coded radio is installed. If so, obtain anti-theft code.
Move selector lever to "P" position.
With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.
Raise vehicle.
Remove bracket for catalytic converter from subframe and pull back; loosen double clamp. → - Repair Group 26

Do not remove catalytic converter but leave it lying on subframe.

Unhook selector lever cable from retainer on front heat shield.
Remove front heat shield for tunnel.
Separate middle heat shield for tunnel and push back.

First remove 4 nuts - arrows A -.
Then remove 2 bolts - arrows B -.
Carefully push cover with protective sleeve forward over selector lever cable. Do not damage protective sleeve in the process.

Unclip Shift Lock Solenoid N110 from retainer - arrows A -.
Pull solenoid out of locking pawl - arrows B -.

Disconnect connector - arrow - and remove Shift Lock Solenoid N110 downwards.
