Shift Lock Solenoid N110, Removing And Installing: Removing

- First check whether a coded radio is installed. If so, obtain anti-theft code.
- Move selector lever to "P" position.
- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.
- Raise vehicle.
- Remove bracket for catalytic converter from subframe and pull back; loosen double clamp. → - Repair Group 26
Do not remove catalytic converter but leave it lying on subframe.
- Unhook selector lever cable from retainer on front heat shield.
- Remove front heat shield for tunnel.
- Separate middle heat shield for tunnel and push back.
- First remove 4 nuts - arrows A -.
- Then remove 2 bolts - arrows B -.
- Carefully push cover with protective sleeve forward over selector lever cable. Do not damage protective sleeve in the process.
- Unclip Shift Lock Solenoid N110 from retainer - arrows A -.
- Pull solenoid out of locking pawl - arrows B -.
- Disconnect connector - arrow - and remove Shift Lock Solenoid N110 downwards.
