External Leaks In Transmission

First try to determine whether it is engine oil or ATF by smell and feel. Compare this oil to oil on engine dipstick.

The following procedure is recommended for determining where the oil is leaking from.

Clean concerned area.

Oil leak detection spray G 001900A1 can be of help.

Carry out test drive.
