1 - Differential housing

2 - Differential bevel gear axle

• Secure with locking pin

3 - Roll pin

• For securing differential bevel gear axle
• Removing

4 - Circlip

• Always replace

5 - Ball bearing for differential

• Pressing out
• Pressing in

6 - Cover

• Remove and install with differential
• Pressing off from differential
• Pressing onto differential

7 - Circlip

• Always replace

8 - Seal

• Pry out using lever
• Drive in up to stop using driver VW 195

9 - Small differential bevel gear

• Installing

10 - Large differential bevel gear

• Installing

11 - Thrust washer connection

• Lubricate with transmission fluid before installing
