Selector mechanism, removing and installing: Installing: Notes

Installation is reverse of removal, noting the following:

Shift mechanisms up to 12.00 

If cable locking mechanisms were removed, they must be replaced.

NOTE:
  • Seals - arrows  - outside of ball socket must be free of grease.

If cable locking mechanisms were not removed: 

Shift mechanisms as of 01.01 

Cable locking mechanisms have continuous holes for securing them to transmission shift lever and to actuator lever. 

Holes in cable locking mechanisms have different diameters.
