General Repair Notes:: Components: Transmission

When installing manual transmission, make sure centering sleeves are correctly seated between engine and transmission.
Clean contact surfaces when repairing mounting brackets and waxed components. Contact surfaces must be completely free of oil and grease.
Allocate bolts and other components via the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).
When replacing manual transmission/angle gear, gear oil must be topped off.

Filling quantity and specification → Code letters, aggregate allocation, ratios, capacities .
When replacing rear final drive, gear oil and oil for Haldex clutch must be filled to lower edge of filler hole.
