Thermostat, removing and installing: Removing

Always replace seals and gaskets.

Drain coolant. Refer to Coolant, draining and filling .
Pull coolant hose off connecting flange.

Remove securing bolts - 1 - of connecting union - 2 - and remove connecting union - 2 - with thermostat - 4 -.
Turn thermostat - 4 - 14 turn (90 ° ) to left and take out of connecting union - 2 -.
