Coolant pump, removing and installing: Removing

NOTE:

Always replace seals and gaskets.
Cover toothed belt with a cloth to protect it from coolant before removing coolant pump.

Remove toothed belt. Refer to Toothed belts, removing, installing and tensioning .
Drain coolant. Refer to Coolant, draining and filling .

Unscrew coolant pump - 2 - securing bolts - 1 - and carefully remove coolant pump.
