Front brake caliper (Girling), servicing: Notes

NOTE:
- When assembling, apply a thin coat of brake fluid to cylinders, pistons and seals.
- Install all parts in repair kit.

- Cap
- Bleeder screw
- Before tightening lubricate threads lightly with brake fluid
- Brake caliper
- Self-locking bolt
- Always replace
- 35 N.m (26 ft lb)
- Hold guide bolts when loosening and tightening
- Piston seal

- Coat lightly with brake fluid before installing
- Dust boot
- Do not damage when inserting piston
- Brake pad carrier
- Supplied as replacement part with pre-lubricated guide bolts and protective caps
- If protective caps or guide bolts are damaged, install repair kit and lubricate guide bolts using grease pack supplied
