Notes on display zone 1:

Notes on display zone 2:

Oxygen sensor voltage U "LAMBDA" in mV

A: High Oxygen sensor voltage

B: Low Oxygen sensor voltage

EVALUATING DISPLAY GROUP 33, DISPLAY ZONE 1 - OXYGEN SENSOR CONTROL BEFORE CATALYTIC CONVERTER

Indicated on display Possible cause Corrective action
Outside tolerance range
  • Minus range: Mixture too rich, Oxygen sensor control weakens mixture
  • Positive range: Mixture too lean, Oxygen sensor control enriches mixture
  • Wait 30 seconds until the display has stabilized

  • Unmetered air

  • Injector faulty

  • Oxygen sensor learned value on limit
  • Check Oxygen sensor learned value in display group 32
