Identification of valve body

Code letters are stamped on a metal tab. The metal tab must remain on the valve body.

NOTE: If the valve body does not have an identification tab, it can remain installed in the transmission. When replacing the valve body, the correct application must be determined. See Code letters, model/engine applications, ratios, equipment .
