EVAP system components, servicing, Vehicles from 1996 to 1999

  1. - Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) canister 
    • In right -front wheelhousing
  2. - Pressure control valve 
    • Flow from fuel tank
  3. - Test connection 
  4. - Retaining ring 
    • Observe correct installation position. See Figure .
  5. - Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve -N80- 
    • Black
    • Normally closed
    • Activation, checking:

  6. - 2 pin harness connector 
  7. - Throttle body connection (manifold vacuum) 
  8. - Vent hose

  10. - Air filter for Leak Detection Pump (LDP)
