- Disconnect selector lever cable from transmission:

- Attach 2024 A engine sling with 2024 A/1 extension as follows, and lift slightly with workshop crane:
Vibration damper end:
- 1st hole in extension at cross bar position -1-
Flywheel end:
- 3rd hole in extension at cross bar position -6-
CAUTION:
Use cotter pins on hooks and pins.
NOTE:
- The end of the cross bar marked with installation positions 1-4 points toward the vibration damper.
- The holes in the hooks are counted up from the hook end.
