Fuel pump module, removing and installing: Installing

NOTE:
  • When installing the fuel pump module, be sure that the fuel level sensor arm is not bent.
  • Coat flange seal with fuel when installing.
  • Fuel delivery unit flange, installed position, see ACCELERATOR PEDAL CABLE, ADJUSTING  and Figure .
  • When module is correctly assembled, the fuel level sensor float points forward at angle -ALPHA- to vehicle direction of travel -A-. See Fig 1 .

When the fuel pump module is correctly installed the fuel level sensor float points to direction of travel -A-.

ALPHA = 5°
