Flushing procedure

CAUTION:
  • Never reuse old coolant.
  • Dispose of old coolant properly.
  • Coolant G 012 A8D A1 may only be used in older vehicles after the original coolant is drained and the cooling system flushed as described above otherwise engine damage can result.
  • Part numbers listed are for reference only. Always check with the Parts department for the latest information.

Recommended mixture ratios: 

RECOMMENDED COOLANT MIXTURE RATIOS

-25 °C (-13 °F) 40% 2.2 liters (2.3 qt.) 3.3 liters (3.5 qt.)
-35 °C (-36 °F) 50% 2.75 liters (2.9 qt.) 2.75 liters (2.9 qt.)
(1) Percentage of anti -freeze must not exceed 60% as frost protection and cooling capacity decrease at higher percentages.
(2) Total coolant quantity may vary depending on vehicle equipment.
