Coolant pump, disassembling and assembling

- 20 Nm (15 ft lb)
- Coolant pump pulley
- For ribbed belt

- Check that shaft rotates smoothly
- Gasket
- Always replace
- Thermostat
- To check, heat in water
- Starts to open at approx. 87 °C (188 °F)
- Fully open at approx. 102 °C (215 °F)
- Opening stroke: 7 mm (0.28 in.) minimum
- Connector pipe
- O-ring
- Always replace
- Clip
- 10 Nm (7 ft lb)

- Remove and install using VAG1590
