Wiper blade contact angle, checking and adjusting: Notes

Eliminate following possible causes of wiper blade skip before replacing wiper blades.
- Windshield scratched
- Wiper blade rubber detached, split or loose
- Wiper arm/blade loose or bent
- Wiper blades coated with wax, deformed or worn out

If none of the four items listed above are the cause of the problem the contact angle of the wiper arms must be checked and adjusted as necessary using wiper arm adjustment tool 3358.
